Cora Coralina in Front of the Bridge. City of Goiás in Brazil.
“I was born in this old house, in this old town in Goiás and I was born in the last century. I have all ages with me. I'm living the best moment of my life – a time of peace, tranquility, certainty, a time when I have nothing and I lack nothing. And I don't want to have more than what you see. All this is enough for me.” Cora Coralina Cora lived the house and everything around her, her gaze hovered over her daily life, her concerns... She spoke of the hands of a rural woman, of the life of washerwomen, prostitutes, farmers, her teacher, the children, of every stone erected in her city, but also for her in its history. Cora Coralina emerges as a living example of this situation. And, after living her life for her husband and children, often depriving her of her literary career in favor of being a mother and wife, she severed all ties, family ties, and returned in 1956, at age 67, to her hometown. Goiás-GO. Cora returned with the objective of building her literary project, of realizing the great dream of her life: to write and publish a book. Recognized in 2001 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, birthplace of the famous poet Cora Coralina.

Nossa Senhora da Boa Morte Church and Museum. Built in Baroque style in 1779. A fire in 1921 destroyed the main altar and damaged images by the sculptor Veiga Valle, considered the "Aleijadinho" of the region. Since 1969, it has been the Boa Morte Museum that houses images of the sculptor. From there the fire procession departs during the Week. Other sacred objects in silver are part of its collection. There is an image that comes out in the procession and their hair and clothes are changed and groomed every year.
